Fly Flats - Wood Sandpiper Twitch (a.m.). Local p.m.

I had a drive over to Fly Flats, Mid-morning to see if I could see the Wood Sandpiper found there by B.S. a bit earlier on.

I had a good, enjoyable, hunt around the public north end of the water and later I used my scope from the road but I failed to locate the bird.

I took some mega distant photos hoping to drag "something" out of them on the laptop but to no avail.

Local:

A bit of garden sky watching this aft and a late walk up the local fields was me lot today.

Birds:-

Fly Flats:

Dunlin singing loudly.

3 Curlew. Swallow. 4 Lapwing.

5 Wheatear. Skylark. Kestrel.

Canada Geese with Goslings.

2 Greylag Geese. Reed Bunting.

3 Common Sandpiper.

An enjoyable walk on a lovely, warmish day, for Fly Flats.

Garden:

2 Large Gulls, 2 Buzzard.  Oystercatcher called - remained unseen.

Local Fields:

Wren, Little Owl, Pheasant, Swallow, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Pr, Mallard.

Peek-a-boo - Common Sandpiper I think
