Yet another poor summers day with bits of drizzle and very dark clouds over Bradshaw.
I got out for a birding walk after tea and had an hour or so a-wandering the local boggy field path.
Not much to report.
Birds:-
C20 Mistle Thrush - a few on lines and others flying west towards Ogden.
2 Little Owl both heard one seen - miles off.
A Barn Owl was also miles off and plagued by a Kestrel before heading out of sight.
6 or so Lesser Black-backed Gulls West plus 1 east.
A couple of Stock Dove with many Woodpigeon,
c10 Rabbits.
And ........ the pub Quiz.
