Very windy in Bradshaw early on with a bit of light drizzle as we waited for the 9:30 am 526 bus to Halifax.
From Halifax we caught a bus to Todmorden and called for coffee and cake at the White Hart Inn while we waited for the next bus to Littleborough.
From Littleborough we walked up the road up to and around the perimeter of Hollingworth Lake.
At the end of the lake we called at the excellent RSPCA cafe for a drink and Toasted Teacake.
We then retraced our steps down to Littleborough to pick up the canal.
We walk along the canal back to Todmorden calling for a refresher at The Summit Inn where we sat outside in warm sunshine,
2 buses from Todmorden got us to Bradshaw Church near home.
Home at 7:20pm.
Our old codgers bus pass is a boon but you need to have plenty of time and patience.
