My usual outing again today, with an enjoyable afternoon walk round Ogden water, returning home via the farm track and field footpaths.
An overcoat colder today but after a visit to the dentist this morning the cold was welcome.
A tad more SE breeze and not just as misty today.
Not much happening, bird wise, although the high dark tree canopies most probably held a secret or two!
After a circuit of the water, and a Twix and coffee in the "café" , I went back along the east side path to check through the Chaffinch again - although there were very few on the waterside stones and they were - all Chaffinch!
Getting dark as I went through the farms where a Barn Owl flew out mobbed by two Magpies.
Lots of Magpies here - love 'em or hate 'em they are survivors - me I don't like 'em much.
