This year our Christmas will be different for us with Abi now at Wakefield.
Today, therefore, was Abi's "Christmas Day" with us.
We had a journey to Wakefield this a.m. to take Abi to our house.
Looking out of the bedroom window just before dawn was a tad disconcerting with a white Bradshaw Lane and snow on the car.
Anyway, by the time we got sorted , some cars had moved the some snow about on the road.
We left home in a bit of a blizzard but once we got through Mountain and Queensbury the snow packed in.
We joined the M62 but the spray was well dodgy so we came off, opting for the A650.
Calling at ASDA near Wakefield was a big mistake - I've never ever been in a busier supermarket!!
No snow at Wakefield at all.
Coming back the weather was sunny and the M62 had dried out and was spray-less so we went back along it.
After some Christmas crackers, silly jokes and a silly card game I managed to have half an hour up the local fields, while the turkey was cooking.
This infernal wind is still with us! but it remained dry on this short walk.
Nothing much at all seen.
