Our early 6.00 a.m. (Ugh!) start was a waste of time because Dreams depot was having a snowy nightmare - so we get another early start tomorrow (Ugh! x2).
Yesterday I spent a long time shifting snow from the drive but Mr. Nature replaced it all like for like today.
This morning snow was falling for some time.
Sue makes marmalade each year with 'special' Saville oranges.
These oranges are only in the fruit & veg. shops for a short period in January so after phoning Kelham Farm shop Sue decided we should walk up to Kelham, pick up 10 kgs of oranges and lug them home!
The walk, actually, was very invigorating , but we had to walk on the road because the pavement was 2 feet deep in snow.
The passing Lorries and cars splattered us with lots of slush residue from time to time, which was unpleasant.
Kelham Farm Shop had made a marvellous job clearing their car park.
That would have been great if we could have got our car out this a.m.
This afternoon was another long snow shovelling job clearing the drive x2.
Birds:-
10 Starling, 2 Mistle Thrush, Blue Tit, Dunnock, Blackbird.
Common Gulls passed by.
