Bradshaw - Ogden - Soil Hill - Bradshaw

A dull cold morning turned out quite warm quite soon, which fooled me as I walked about with a sack full of clothes.

I had an enjoyable natter with the Ogden 'cafe' ladies while I scoffed half me butties with a coffee.

I spent a lot longer than usual near or in the woodland here today but failed to find much really.

Soil Hill was calm and quiet - good few Willow Warblers singing.

The hoped for early returner never materialised although I did loiter for a long time, but only went 200 yds down the north slope.

Nothing much on offer along Taylor Lane but an enjoyable 5 hours plus out and about with Sue having other things to sort out.

Birds:-

c10 Meadow Pipit.

Red Legged Partridge (heard).

Pheasant, Chiffchaff, Mistle Thrush,
