Another sunny day and with wind changing direction from this everlasting cold eastly to a more westerly, the temperature soared this afternoon.
I enjoyed a late morning walk up and over Soil Hill.
It was great to chat with DJS in his car , who had just left Soil Hill.
Top of the shop were a pair of Grey Partridge along the quarry top path - very skittish and quite distant.
Mid-afternoon Sue kindly drove us to Widdop Reservoir.
I had a good look around the place while Sue read her book nice and toasty in her car.
It was a bit breezy here but nice and warm in the sunshine.
It's a pity this place is so far from Bradshaw otherwise I'd be here every day,
My hope for 100 birds in 100 days - from 01/01/2025 - ended today on 97 species.
I can now relax and stop traipsing all over the shop, get some bus rides in and some more walking (and less of this blogging guff) as the nights get longer.
