I had another short jaunt up the local fields after tea today.
The weather is finally on the change with a brisk west wind blowing and cloud covered skies.
I go along the fields and through the farms knowing that at this time of year nothing new will 'pop out' but still optimistic that something might.
However my optimism has run out of ism and I'll soon be left with just 'opt'.
Just possible I have a photo of a Lesser Black-backed Gull with a fledgling - Jackdaw?
Birds:-
Distant Buzzard to my south east > south West (a.m.).
2 Pheasant. Woodpigeons. Chaffinch. Goldfinch. Jackdaws.
Curlew calling from distance. Greenfinch. Blackbird.
2 Swallow. 5 Lesser Black-backed Gulls. Carrion Crow, Magpie,
2 Stock Dove, House Sparrow. Robin. Starling. Wren.
Linnet. Long Tailed Tit.
