Mixenden Reservoir and Local Fields

A windy and showery day mostly, improved late afternoon.

We had a visit to make to Aldi, Halifax and 'on the way home' I had a very quick look at Mixenden Reservoir.

I was hoping to see the 'NK specials' but failed to hear or see them.

Windy with some rain as I peered across the water from the top SW corner before sheltering a tad just inside the wall under the conifers.

Late afternoon I had a short garden sky watch during a dry period and after tea I had my usual walk along the fields, through the farms to Ned Hill Road bottom (or thereabouts),

A bit of a damp squib day after the Blackstone Edge Waders!
