A short stroll to Oats Royd to-day - allowed a break from the Granddaughters tractor jigsaw.

Pr. Canada Goose on the small pond below the park – one on its nest.

Usual 3 residents being upset by the arrival of a
pr. Canada Goose. Drake Mallard. Moorhen.

Possible Raven overhead but the photo is poor.
On the return journey 2 Linnet on a wall near home and a
Mistle Thrush.
This bird looked very large with the naked eye.
Yesterday at Shibden Park:-
Not a bad day at all. The corvid is probably a Carrion Crow; the head is not projecting far enough from the body and the tail is not obviously wedged like a Raven's is.
